Tutor Matching Service

While we encourage students to utilize the free tutoring offered by the Learning Center for courses that we support, we are excited to announce our partnership with Tutor Matching Service (TMS) as an additional resource for MU students.

This is a website that allows students to identify tutors for both online and in-person tutoring sessions. To allow tutors more time to support students, TMS facilitates all scheduling, booking, and payments. Tutors listed on TMS set their own rates, and students pay directly through TMS with a credit card.

MU students can also register as tutors through TMS. The Student Success Center provides “badges” to those tutors who have completed College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training, or who have been endorsed by a faculty member.

GoBoard

An online tutoring platform for Mizzou students is available at Mizzou GoBoard

What is a GoBoard?  A GoBoard is a first-of-its-kind, free online tool that combines video conferencing with an interactive canvas, designed to help students collaborate one-on-one, on virtually any topic. Simply create a GoBoard, share the link, and begin sharing knowledge, face-to-face. There is never anything to download!  With GoBoard, you can: 1) See and hear the other person, or just type back and forth. 2) Share the graphing calculator, molecular bonds creator, reference library, and other tools. 3) Upload work to a shared canvas, by simply snapping a photo and texting it in.
