ABT Policies:
- Students may attend one session per subject area each week.
- Students may only attend appointment-based tutoring sessions for courses they are actively enrolled in at Mizzou.
- If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 12 hours in advance or your appointment will be considered a no-show.
- Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, the tutor will only work with you for the time remaining in your original time slot. For example, if you arrive at 2:10 for a 2:00 appointment, your tutor will work with you until 2:50 and no later.
- If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the appointment start time, the tutor will leave the appointment and mark your appointment as a no-show.
- If you cancel your appointment at least 12 hours before, you may reschedule your appointment with no penalty.
- Your tutor has the right to end the tutoring session early if you are unprepared or otherwise incapable of being tutored. This is ultimately at the discretion of the tutor.
- If you would like to request a change in location (e.g. move a Zoom appointment to in-person, or vice versa), you must do so at least one hour prior to the appointment.
- Appointments take place on the main floor of the Student Success Center or virtually via Zoom. Please note the location you select when you make your appointment.
- The deadline to schedule an appointment is 11:00 pm the night before.
- The earliest you can schedule an appointment is two weeks in advance.
- In case of a university closure, all appointments will be cancelled.
