Study Accountability Groups

Study Accountability Groups are weekly, 90-minute study sessions facilitated by a Learning Center Academic Coach. At the start of every session, participants each set a goal to accomplish during the session and then work independently. Academic Coaches are present to answer questions about learning strategies, exam preparation, and study habits. These groups build community, facilitate productivity, and create accountability

Groups meet weekly for the duration of the semester and students are expected to attend all meetings to contribute to the group’s overall success. If accepted, students will receive their group assignments during the first week of the spring semester. Groups will begin meeting the second week of the semester.

In the application, you will be asked about your academic background, your availability for the spring semester, and why you would like to be in an accountability group. Applications are due by January 20, 2025.
